You can request deletion of your StoryFM account and associated personal data by emailing our support team. This option is available whether you registered directly or used Google Sign-In.
How to request deletion
- Email info@storyfmapp.com from the email address connected to your StoryFM account.
- Use the subject line StoryFM Account and Data Deletion Request.
- Include your StoryFM username and account email address so we can identify the correct account.
- Do not send your password, Google password, one-time code, or other sensitive login credentials.
Verification and processing
To protect accounts from unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to verify account ownership. After successful verification, we will process the request and confirm when it is complete, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Data covered by the request
Depending on your use of StoryFM, deletion may cover your profile and account details, Google Sign-In identifier and connected profile information, listening and library activity, comments, creator information, and content associated with your account. Some public content may be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
Backups and required retention
Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, or demonstrate completion of your request.
Google account access
You may separately revoke StoryFM's Google access from your Google Account permissions. Revoking access prevents future Google Sign-In data exchange but does not by itself delete your StoryFM account; send the email request above for account and data deletion.
