These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StoryFM, including storyfmapp.com and its listening, creator, publishing, community, and account services. By accessing StoryFM or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your country, to use StoryFM. If you are below the age of legal majority, you may use StoryFM only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the service, you confirm that you can enter into these Terms.
2. Accounts and Google Sign-In
You must provide accurate information and keep your account details current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your credentials. If you use Google Sign-In, you authorize StoryFM to receive the basic Google profile information described in our Privacy Policy for authentication and account creation or linking.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require identity or account verification to protect users and the service.
3. The StoryFM service
StoryFM provides tools to discover, listen to, save, create, publish, and interact with stories and related content. Features, availability, supported devices, catalog content, creator tools, and eligibility requirements may change over time. We may introduce, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of original content you submit to StoryFM. You grant StoryFM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for technical delivery, display, perform, distribute, and promote that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and promote StoryFM and make your content available according to your selected settings.
You represent that you own or have all permissions required for your content, including text, audio, artwork, music, names, trademarks, and other included material. You remain responsible for your content and any consequences of publishing it.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use StoryFM to:
- violate any law, regulation, court order, or another person's rights;
- upload infringing, unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, threatening, exploitative, or abusive content;
- impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or manipulate engagement;
- harass users or expose private or confidential information without permission;
- send spam, malware, phishing, or other harmful material;
- bypass access controls, probe security, interfere with the service, or access accounts or systems without authorization;
- scrape, copy, sell, or exploit the service or catalog except as permitted by law or written authorization; or
- use automated systems in a way that creates unreasonable load or harms users or StoryFM.
6. StoryFM content and intellectual property
StoryFM's software, interface, branding, logos, design, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to StoryFM and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to you. Content from creators remains subject to the rights of its respective owner.
7. Copyright and complaints
If you believe content on StoryFM infringes your rights, contact us with enough information to identify the work, the disputed material, your contact details, and the basis for your claim. We may remove or restrict content and may suspend repeat infringers where appropriate.
8. Paid services and refunds
Some subscriptions, stories, coins, creator features, or other products may require payment. Prices, billing intervals, included benefits, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be shown before purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party providers under their terms. Refund eligibility is governed by the refund policy displayed on StoryFM, applicable platform rules, and mandatory consumer law.
9. Third-party services
StoryFM may integrate with third-party services such as Google Sign-In, hosting, payment, analytics, or sharing services. Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. StoryFM is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
10. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may investigate violations and remove content, limit features, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, respond to security threats, or preserve service integrity. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal. You may stop using StoryFM at any time and may request account deletion through available account settings or support.
11. Disclaimers
StoryFM is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of any story or feature, or that all content will be accurate, suitable, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryFM and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid StoryFM for the relevant service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with applicable jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute-resolution requirements that apply where you live.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, or operational changes. We will publish the updated Terms here, revise the "Last updated" date, and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
